Atos / DWP

Have been following the all the blogs regarding the cuts to DLA / ESA so on and so forth, so i thought i will add my experience regarding Atos / Dwp medical. Not going to give full account as it still angers me but will tell you of the phone call i had with the decision maker (DWP) after i received the news that i was deemed fit for work.

Hello my name is blah blah and i am phoning you to ask you to reverse the decision made by the Atos HCP
Sorry i cant do that
Why not
Because the decision has been made
Do you know what i suffer with
NO
So how can you justify agreeing with Atos when you know nothing about my condition.

So the i gave her a complete history of my condition and how it affects me on a daily basis, she was astounded did not realize what my condition can do to me. At the end of the conversation i again asked her to change the decision made by the Atos HCP to which she replied.

I am so sorry Mr blah blah but i cannot reverse the decision.

The point i am making is the DWP are not reading the full report because i guess they just skip to the relevant part IE.. Passed / Failed. Plus i know that they are under pressure to meet targets given to them by their managers.
WE have little or no chance of ever getting justice with these people.

I of course appealed and lost and that's another story / blog.

Another day another "Normal Comment"

I always smile first thing in the morning so i don't have to do it throughout the rest of the day, Kinda gets me down having to smile when in reality i don't feel like smiling much at all. Hands, feet hurt like hell today must stop playing with the kids. Oh well live with it wash later.
Cup of tea would be good only hands wont let me make one just yet just a while longer, There we go and it tastes just as good as it did yesterday. Usual phone call you "OK" you want me to come and help out till you can manage, would you mind i say have said it countless times last 3 years maybe you could take me shopping do me good to get out for an hour, also would you drive my hands and feet hurt not sure if i can manage the car. Why are you parking there for do you have a blue badge you "Look Normal To Me". What are you doing to me Mr Cameron!!!!!!
